Meet the owner and creator:

Hi, everyone! I’m Kira Johnson. Wife, mama, and the passionate artist behind the unique and creative pieces you see here.

Aspens To Ashes is a small business inspired by my love of nature. When I create a piece, I want it to evoke an emotion. I want it to remind the viewer of the swift movement of trout swimming in creeks, the excitement of elk bugles heard echoing in the forests, the calmness of the sun setting behind majestic mountain tops, or the swiftness of wind racing through the canyons crackling trees in its path. My hope is that viewers will feel these emotions when they see my art and seek their own adventures in nature.

Due to the artistic nature of my skill, no two pieces are exactly the same. Similarly that no two pieces of wood are the same.
